RERIGd – Pre-Owned Fishing Tackle

At RERIGd, we want you to buy pre-owned fishing tackle with confidence. We carefully inspect and describe our products, providing clear photographs and information about their condition.

We understand that occasionally something may not be right. This policy explains your options if you wish to return an item or request a refund.

1. Buying Pre-Owned Tackle

Most of our products are pre-owned and may show signs of previous use.

We make every effort to describe the condition of each item accurately, including any noticeable wear, damage or imperfections.

Normal wear and tear, and any specific defects clearly disclosed before purchase, are taken into account when assessing an item's condition.

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by the fact that an item is pre-owned.

2. Changed Your Mind? – 14-Day Returns

If you purchase an item through our website, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason.

To cancel, please notify us within this period by email or another clear written statement.

Once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to return the item.

Customers are responsible for the direct cost of return postage or transport for change-of-mind returns, unless we have agreed otherwise.

You may inspect an item as you would in a shop. However, if it has been handled or used beyond what is necessary to establish its condition and functionality, we may make an appropriate deduction from your refund to reflect any reduction in its value.

3. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrectly Described Items

If an item arrives faulty, damaged or materially different from its description, please contact us so we can help resolve the issue.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you may be entitled to a refund, repair or replacement, depending on the circumstances and when the fault is reported.

Where an item does not meet the required legal standards, you generally have a 30-day right to reject it for a refund. Further rights may apply after this period.

Where a return is due to a fault or an incorrect description for which RERIGd is responsible, we will cover reasonable return costs or arrange collection where appropriate.

4. Returning Large or Bulky Items

Certain products, including fishing rods, bedchairs and other bulky equipment, may require specialist transport.

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the direct return transport cost. Where an item cannot normally be returned by post, we will provide an appropriate return-cost estimate before purchase.

Customers may arrange a suitable return service themselves or contact us to discuss available collection arrangements.

Where a product is faulty or incorrectly described, we will arrange or cover reasonable return costs in accordance with your statutory rights.

5. Refunds

For valid change-of-mind cancellations, refunds will include the purchase price and the original standard delivery charge, where applicable.

If you selected a premium delivery service, we are only required to refund the equivalent cost of our least expensive standard delivery option.

Refunds will be made to your original payment method unless we agree otherwise.

We will process cancellation refunds without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that they have been sent back, whichever is earlier. Where we have agreed to collect the goods, the applicable deadline is 14 days after we are informed of your cancellation.

No cancellation or restocking fees are charged.

6. Orders Collected in Person

Orders purchased online and subsequently collected in person generally retain the same statutory cancellation rights as other online purchases.

For purchases completed in person after inspecting the goods, we do not routinely offer change-of-mind returns unless agreed otherwise.

Your statutory rights regarding faulty or misdescribed goods remain unaffected.

7. How to Arrange a Return

To request a return, please email enquiries@rerigd.co.uk with your order number, details of the item and the reason for your return.

We will confirm the return arrangements and provide instructions before you send your item back.

For suitable parcels, our preferred return method is Evri ParcelShop-to-ParcelShop delivery.

Our preferred collection point is:

RERIGd Returns

Post Office Toton

2 Stapleford Lane

Toton

Nottingham

NG9 6GA

Please contact us before booking your return so we can confirm the correct recipient details and collection arrangements.

For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for return postage costs, as explained in Section 2.

Where an item is faulty, damaged or incorrectly described and RERIGD is responsible, we will arrange or cover reasonable return costs in accordance with your statutory rights.

Please package returned items securely to prevent damage in transit. We recommend using a tracked delivery service.

For oversized items, including fishing rods, please contact us to arrange a suitable return method.

Refunds will be processed in accordance with Section 5 of this policy and your statutory consumer rights.

8. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights under applicable UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
